About
The association Samojede in Not e.V. takes care of Samoyeds and their mixes who urgently need a safe and loving home. Most of the dogs come from shelters in Germany and abroad, from private surrenders, or even from so‑called ‘killing stations,’ where they face euthanasia if nobody claims them.

A beautiful Samoyed needs our help
For two months, this beautiful female Samoyed wandered the streets of Kraljeva Sutjeska.
Now she is safe — we took her off the street — but a big challenge lies ahead.
She is pregnant and we expect a litter of about 10 puppies soon.
This is a dog who deserves the very best. Samoyeds are highly valued, gentle, intelligent, and loyal dogs — we are confident that we will successfully find homes for her and her puppies.
But until then, she needs our help.
What is most needed right now: quality food, donations for veterinary care, preparation for birth and care of the puppies, basic supplies for the coming months, treatments and care for her and the puppies.
She was rescued from the street, exhausted and alone. Now she has a chance — but without your help we cannot manage everything that lies ahead.

Animals Need Your Help!
The Animal Welfare Association “Skitnica” Kakanj faces the problem of stray dogs and local citizens on a daily basis. One of the main goals of this association is to solve the issue of the local community and abandoned dogs, both through community education and by setting our own examples.
Our Goals
Protection of abandoned animals, domestic animals, wildlife, and endangered or protected species from all forms of abuse, cruelty, and killing.
Education of the public regarding animal protection and welfare, the causes of problems, and humane methods of resolution, with the aim of improving their protection and enhancing the quality of coexistence between people and animals.
Cooperation with all relevant institutions, other associations, professional and academic communities, in order to promote the idea of animal protection and their rights.

Javio nam se Kakanjac velikog srca. Ne samo da je primio napuštenu štencad, nego i njihova majku i oca, cijelu porodicu na svom seoskom imanju.
Poslali smo donaciju u hrani i dogovorili se da će ih on paziti, a da će ih Udruženje vakcinisati i udomiti, zajedno s majkom i ocem.

Ljubav, briga i nova prilika za napuštene životinje 🐶
Napušteni psi i mačke svakodnevno traže hranu, vodu i sigurno mjesto za život. O njima brinu volonteri koji, uz mnogo truda i ljubavi, nastoje pomoći životinjama bez doma. O radu Udruženja “Sretna šapa” , izazovima s kojima se susreću i načinima na koje građani mogu pomoći, razgovarali smo u Gradskom parku u Tuzli.
